eine serie von videostills welche die formwerdung, transformation sowie entmaterialisierung dokumentiert. die stills visualisieren eine formbildung, die sich in zwei ebenen, oberhalb und unterhalb einer eisfläche vollzieht. ein weißer ballon wird unter einer eisfläche mit druckluft gefüllt und vergrößert dabei sein volumen. durch die volumenvergrößerung  wächst dabei der druck auf die eisfläche bis zum kritischen punkt des durchbruchs. die ballonhaut wird dabei zerstört. das innenvolumen des ballons konvergiert in den außenraum. dieser vorgang wiederholt sich an einem vor den bildern am boden liegenden objekt. als analogie wird ebenfalls ein ballon mit druckluft befüllt und zersprengt die verglasung einer vitrine.

 

a series of video stills documents the formation, transformation and dematerialisation. they visualise a formation that takes place on two levels, above and below the ice surface. a white balloon is filled with compressed air underneath the ice and increases its volume. due to that increase, the pressure on the surface grows to the crucial point of rupture. the balloon skin is destroyed during process. the content of the balloon converges into the outer space. this process is replicated on an object lying on the floor in front of the pictures. as an analogy, a balloon is also filled with compressed air and shatters the glass of a vitrine.
